Nekton R For Birds
NEKTON-R contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, the colorant Canthaxanthin and trace elements in balanced proportions.
NEKTON-R prevents feather colours from fading and positively influences the natural shine and brightness of the whole plumage. Due to the vitamin complex contained within, the bird is supported through the entire moulting/rearing process and additionally supplied with all important nutrients.
The colorant used (lipochrome) is identical to the natural substance and is thus physiologically safe. It is also used in the food industry to colour food products. Carotenoids are of vital importance for coloured feathers.
NEKTON-R is administered in the drinking water or soft feed at the beginning of melting/rearing until the end of melting or as soon as the bird's colour is fully restored. No other vitamin compound should be administered whilst using NEKTON-R.
Feeding recommendation
This depends on the desired intensity of the colouring.
1g (one level measuring spoon) sufficient for 10 small birds (canaries) in 250ml drinking water or in 100g soft food.
Apply only during the plumage growth.
Because of this supplement‘s higher content of dye than in a complete feed, it may only be added to 2,5% of a bird‘s daily ration.
